Listed Building Consent
If you are doing work to a listed building, you may need to get listed building consent and planning permission.
Examples of the kind of projects that you need to secure listed building consent for include:
- Any kind of extension
- To remove features or walls inside the building
- To replace windows
- Any alteration that removes or changes part of the original building, inside or out.
Consent is generally not required for a repair, but if you would like to seek clarification please get in touch and we’ll be happy to advise.
As a specialist in this area we can work with you to apply for consent. Whilst balancing your vision and requirements with what’s right for the building from an architectural point of view, we’ll guide you through the process so you have the best possible chance of gaining consent.
