Quinquennial Inspections

Quinquennial Inspections

As approved Inspecting Architects we carry out Quinquennial Inspections for more than 60 churches in the West Midlands region.

Carried out every five years, the inspection assesses the condition of the building and what repairs need to be carried out to maintain it’s condition.

Although it is not a requirement of the church, we do have two members of the team who are Conservation Accredited Architects.

Consequently, if major repair works do need to be carried out and you receive grant aid from the Heritage Lottery Fund or English Heritage, all works can be carried out under the supervision of the Conservation Accredited Architect, as stipulated in their funding conditions.
