Managing a building project can be stressful, particularly if you are working with a number of different contractors. To make things easier, we provide a Contract Administration service to ensure that the project is completed on time, on budget and to the agreed specification.
This service includes:
Tendering: We prepare all specifications and drawings before inviting a number of relevant contractors to tender. We have a number of highly skilled and specialist contractors that we work with on a regular basis, but we can also incorporate any preferred contractors, specialists or suppliers that you may wish to use.
Tender Assessment: We’ll collect all tenders and assess them against an agreed criteria before preparing a report with our recommendations. This report will form the basis of our discussions to appoint the chosen contractor.
Pre-start meetings – As well as drawing up the contract and managing all contract formalities, we’ll arrange pre-start meetings and job briefings with all contractors.
Project Management – Once the work is underway, we will oversee the job whilst the builder is on site. This includes:
- Carrying out weekly site visits and providing a full report back to you
- Dealing with day to day queries from the contractors and liaising with you only when necessary
- Carrying out monthly valuations to certify the value of the work that has been carried out before issuing a certificate to you for payment. This ensures that you only ever pay to the contractor for work that has been carried out.
