66 Westgate Street Gloucester

66 Westgate Street

66 Westgate Street is one of the few intact timber framed dwellings left in the city of Gloucester. It was built on a major route into the city, close to the west gate and minutes walk from the cathedral.

Nick Joyce Architects Llp carried out a detailed structural appraisal and feasibility studies for its reuse, but it still failed to attract interest from Building restoration Trusts or developers so was eventually acquired by Nick Joyce himself and restored.
